Pumpkin guts, anyone?

I love pumpkin carving day.
We kick back, take our time, listen to music and just let the kids do their thing.
No crazy designs, no parents taking over, just kids doing their thing.

Once the kids have their faces drawn on, Dave and I go at it.

And they always, always, always turn out perfect.

This is the first year that one of our pumpkins had a heart.
Be still my heart.
This will be Cora’s first trick-or-treating.
She’s a little unsure what it all means, but she did tell her teacher she thought she’d be getting a little candy that day.
Love my girl.
