EP and EA and VI – Oh MY!

29 Mar

Cora’s EP was approved on Friday of last week! Whoot! (That means she is done with the Korean side.  For those looking for timeframes, it was 3 full weeks from EP submission.)

I called the National Visa Center this morning and they see her picture (EA – Embassy Appearance) and said her VI (Visa Interview) is scheduled for Friday afternoon (which is the middle of the night for us tonight.)

That’s it, people! Every last step.  It’s time to go get my baby girl! Over 9 months ago we said YES! and now, it’s time! 🙂 Praying for that travel call to come at any minute.

This is what my life looks like right now.

With a lot of THESE floating around.

(Why does Logan seem to hit that growth spurt when we still have so many weeks of pants weather ahead? Size 14, people. Thank goodness for Old Navy’s “slim” jeans.  The kid is a rail.  And his feet are officially larger than mine at age 10. Thankful for the chuckies I bought him that fit him for a few MONTHS, tops.  They’re mine, now. 😉 )

And Cora’s b-day is in just two weeks away.  We shopped ahead of time and spent some time wrapping so we could worry less about something for once.  😉

We’re READY! (Well, besides packing.) Our hearts are ready!
We know there will be hard times and exhaustion around the corner, but we can’t get past it if we don’t jump in it and we’ve been waiting so long to jump in it! Get me in the hard places so we can move through them!

The only one who has no clue is this guy.

He finds his little corner in the sun.  When it is gone, he goes to the back of the house, waiting patiently for it to show up on the other side.

Sleeping the day away.
He’s such a good, good dog that I know Cora will love him as much as we do.

Onward, my friends! Cora SeungJoo, we are on our way!

Yeah!!!! I know you hate the pregancy references, but I think it is ironic that was 9 months ago you asked for her to join your family! Safe travels to all! We look forward to meeting her when she is ready!
